It is too embarrassing for me to finish the whole video.

That's funny that you say that about rock. It's true, but I was just reading the other day about a small group of conservative punk musicians who say punk music (which is massively owned by and identified with the Left) was made as a voice against government interference. The Left then took it over and "perverted" it with silly things like civil rights, ending poverty, education, you know, all the wrong things to value in this world. I, as other people say, believe rock was founded by B.B. King. I don't know the intricate story behind it, other than it not being something he purposely sought, just a sound that came out of one of his jam sessions that caught the ear of other musicians wanting to imitate the sound.

That's 1977? I thought you were describing today's time, sans the Cold War (thanks to Obamsky, as in thanks to him for calming Russia's anger towards us). But isn't having the value of success and money in itself the thing people started to rebel against? People, for instance..........like Rage Against The Machine?

I thought the only heat source from Santa's riding was Rudolph's nose? One could argue that a lot of the electronics (PS3's, iPods, T.V.'s, etc.) he carries around as gifts for children in the bag have carbon emissions, but none of them are plugged in in his sleigh. I don't even see how those gifts get to people's houses in working condition, it's minus I don't know how many degrees at the atmospheric level Santa flies.

Grouping together to campaign for ending poverty? You'll have to join the billion or so people who have been asking for this since Christ said it to His disciples. It's always a worthy cause to be behind though, no matter how long it persists (in my opinion).

Yeah, the Dodo missed it's opportunity for survival. But we can hope and work towards having the Native Americans learn a lesson from that......(as well as other animal species, that is).The Clandestine Samuraihttp://transcendanxiety.wordpress.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2094379750831310333.post-84374186946486566782009-12-26T01:48:14.786-08:002009-12-26T01:48:14.786-08:00Wow, does this ever pack a wollop! Not knowing who this person is who sang the computer-generated song, I still now have a sense of gratitude for the rage against it on Facebook. And, yes, I wish the dodo had figured it out prior to extinction. Will we?Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11135393270656573516noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2094379750831310333.post-21180052925021572682009-12-24T16:08:20.068-08:002009-12-24T16:08:20.068-08:00If you're sad enough to be reading your emails...If you're sad enough to be reading your emails on xmas day then so be it! Me in my cynicism thought that the chances were, the campaign was probably started by an agent of rage against the machine (if not one of them), thus making the whole thing farcicle! Both the songs are utter shite! the whole music industry is utter shite!
As for the Christmas thing, as per usual Christianity basterdised a pagan celebration to help convert the heathen population.. long before the nativity thing there would have been the winter solstice celebration (holly, ivy, christmas logs, mistletoe, feast... ladadadadda....) In our house christmas represents this, with blatant revelling in the depths of depressing weather and greyness. Any excuse for a piss up is our rule of thumb!
anyway.. have been catching up with your posts and you're as great as ever :-)... wishing you a brilliant x-mas, have a good un mush!Batteson.Indhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10846214578565824955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2094379750831310333.post-9846238024741124052009-12-22T11:06:53.509-08:002009-12-22T11:06:53.509-08:00One who is sure to escape the burdens of celebrity...One who is sure to escape the burdens of celebrity is Gordon Brown's tailor!
I greatly enjoyed your post. It is kind of nice to see Mr Cowell get a bit of a bloody nose for a change and it is interesting how, if enough people can get together, things - albeing rather meaningless thing, can be changed. Maybe we should be starting Facebook groups.Argenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10532506690426639326noreply@blogger.com
